Nutritional Therapy consultations
I practice from Health Space 307 a multidisciplinary health centre in the heart of Finchley. Here the practitioners have a shared aim to empower our clients to take an active role in their healing process and long-term maintenance of health. The space is modern and airy offering a nurturing and tranquil environment.
Prior to any consultation I will ask you to compile a 5-day food diary, including both weekdays and weekend days and to bring it along on the day of the consultation. When compiling your food diary please focus on being honest rather than good. This information will contribute to my understanding of your nutritional status.
Initial consultation – £90
An initial consultation will last 90 mins. During the consultation you will be asked detailed questions about; current health concerns, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment, medical history, family history, lifestyle, sleep, levels of physical activity, use of medication & supplements and diet. A mini physical examination of your nails, tongue and eyes may be performed if appropriate. At this time you will have the opportunity to discuss your aims and any challenges you foresee.
After the consultation I will review all the information gathered and keeping the aims you have identified in mind, draw up your personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan. If appropriate for you supplement recommendations may be included along with functional testing. Your plan will be emailed to you and followed up with a phone or Skype call to answer any questions you might have.
Follow up – £50
I would recommend a follow up appointment after 4-6 weeks. This appointment will last 45 mins and focus on reviewing progress, addressing any challenges that arose and gathering any new relevant information. Results from functional testing will be reviewed where appropriate.
An updated personalised plan will be drawn up considering all the information gathered. Your plan will be emailed to you and followed up with a phone or Skype call to answer any questions you might have.
